Welcome to our Caribbean Beach Community:
Serenità Village, just north of Corozal Town, Belize

our tropical Dream

What is Serenità Village?

An intentionally supportive community on a tropical beach, where the emphasis is on living cooperatively.

Serenità Village is one of those groups of people who want a nature based village rather than a city where it is hard to even know your neighbors.

Serenita villagers appreciate each other, and work together in order to give back with thanks for life.

 Why Serenità Village?

Introduction

As a modern person, you are trained to be independent and self-reliant.
We have spent our lives paying for what we want or need or even what others expect of us, requiring hard-earned money that we work our whole lives to obtain.
But many people in large cities are lonely, depressed, and anxious.

Relationships are falling apart, afraid of violence, rejection and being told what they can and cannot do.
Across this beautiful world communities are forming to shine the light on all that we have to offer to each other, all that we need from each other.

How do we do that? Click here to read about how we work together as a caring community.

Community Village Alternative

Think about all the things that we can do better when we are not isolated!
Even listening to each other is a gift that works both ways!

Serenità Village is one of those groups of people who want a nature based village rather than a city where it is hard to even know your neighbors.

A Worldwide Movement!

This movement towards villages in nature has always been a magnet for people who value community, environment, pure air and less noise over the income cycle of consumption, tension and expectation.
Now it is a global movement, for example the Global Ecovillage Network is made up of approximately 10,000 communities and related projects where people are living together in greater ecological harmony.

A Community Example in the USA

Here is how one intentional community in the USA sees itself:

“We are an intergenerational gathering of people who spend time learning together in the spirit of a small village: sharing interests, resources, energy, and the gentle passing of time. We look to show the next generation a model for community involvement, intentional living, and homemade happiness.”
